"I wanted to give you all some disturbing information on our wonderful president. I work with the Catch-A-Dream Foundation which provides hunting and fishing trips to children with life-threatening illnesses. This past weekend we had our annual banquet / fundraiser event in Starkville . "As a part of our program, we had scheduled Sgt. 1st Class Greg Stube, a highly decorated U.S. Army Green Beret and inspirational speaker who was severely injured while deployed overseas and didn't have much of a chance for survival to come. Greg is stationed at Ft. Bragg , NC and received permission from his commanding officer to come speak at our function. Everything was on go until Obama made a policy that NO U.S. SERVICEMAN CAN SPEAK AT ANY FAITH-BASED PUBLIC EVENTS ANYMORE. Needless to say, Greg had to cancel his speaking event with us.. Didn't know if anyone else was aware of this new policy. Wonder what kind of news we all will receive next. You're just >  starting to see the Obamanation. Your religion is on the list next.? I don't know about you, but this makes me furious.

This is just how the Nazis did it in the 30's, slowly, one step at a time. If you don't see the similarities you are truly blind.

HB 1388 PASSED
You just spent $20,000,000 to move members/supporters of Hamas, a terrorist organization, to the United States ; housing, food, the whole enchilada.
HB 1388 PASSED
Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U.S. needs to know....

Something happened... H.R. 1388 was passed, behind our backs. You may want to read about it... It wasn ' t mentioned on the news... just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen.  Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA . This is the news that didn't make the headlines...  By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza .  The "presidential determination," which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States , was signed and appears in the Federal Register.  Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006. Now we learn that he is allowing thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense. These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the blinding bail-outs and "stimulation" packages.

Doubtful? To verify this for yourself: www.thefederalregister.com/d.p/2009-02-04-E9-2488

PLEASE PASS THIS ON... AMERICA NEEDS TO KNOW.   WE are losing this country at a rapid pace.

In My Opinion:

Perhaps it is time for the 'all-knowing' legislatures and absent parents to accept the fact that a large part of the problem in the schools is a teacher's inability to administer discipline in the classroom that is an effective deterrent to disruptive students. It is so easy to sit around and condemn those people who are in the classrooms desperately trying to teach students who come to school hungry, sleep deprived, and even high or drunk; dealing with students who are forced to come to school and will do almost anything to get out and parents/guardians who are looking for 'baby sitters'. Meanwhile, money is scarce and almost every single teacher I know is spending a good portion of their grossly inadequate pay to supplement needed classroom materials in outdated and usually overcrowded classrooms.
I agree that there should be accountability, but that is the job of the administration. Teachers undergo a barrage of 'observations' and must maintain a plethora of information and data on each student. People see teachers leaving soon after school is out, but they do not see the additional hours spent on lesson plans, grading papers, struggling to find creative teaching strategies, and more, just to reach their students. Most teachers work about 60hours per week and are paid for 37.
To suggest that a teacher, or anyone, is paid based on what a disinterested, unmotivated, and belligerent student decides to do on a test is ludicrous at best. If you were told that you are being required to perform some task so that your boss will get paid, but, that task requires additional work and no concrete reward, how hard would you try, especially if you hated your job and your boss for making you do the work? These students undergo so many tests that they are now rebelling. Sleeping through tests and 'Christmas treeing' the answer sheets are common practices to the point where it is almost a badge of honor to 'flunk' the test. The students that reach me are at least 2 grade levels behind and few can even read beyond the 6th grade level. So now, this is my fault (i never saw these students before)? The teachers' fault? I think not. How about some consequences for the students and their parents?
While perhaps 1 or 2 in 10 teachers are in need of additional training, let us not forget that they are in the trenches doing the job no one else will touch, with little or no materials, constant added criteria, and students who would rather be at the beach and can't wait to get out of class to get there. And let's not forget that most teachers have completed certification and are at the highly-qualified level and if not they are certainly undergoing additional training and must achieve certification within an allotted time frame.
I teach at a title one school in the west side. I work in excess of 60 hours per week and have been attacked by students in the classroom because I confiscated an ipod. I had 47 in my class at the beginning of last year and 35 this year. I teach a class of students who are at least 2 years behind their peer group. I spend hundreds of dollars a month on incentives, photo copies and supplies. I use technology (much of it I have purchased myself) and anything else I can find or think of to 'motivate' the students. The idea that their performance will dictate my pay-scale is beyond comprehension. How about providing me with some disciplinary alternatives that work instead of my having to take time from teaching to instruct students on the mannerly behavior in a group setting, or calling for security because I have a violent confrontation between students?
Why not REQUIRE accountability by parents. Require parents to volunteer a portion of their time in the classrooms, assisting their students and others? Insist that parents monitor their students behaviors and insure they have enough to eat, warm clothes on cold days, and access to the books and materials that will help them learn something of value instead of making excuses.
And why not stop blaming teachers for all the ills in the schools. Give them back the power to teach and the students will learn. That should be much less expensive in the long run.

 Arizona governor signs
immigration law; foes
promise fight

The Arizona Republic

Moments after Gov. Jan Brewer signed Arizona's controversial new immigration law Friday, opponents promised legal challenges
and economic sanctions against a state still reeling from the housing meltdown.
..."The criminalization isn't the path to resolve the undocumented-immigration phenomenon," the statement added.

The legislation has widespread support among Arizonans, according to one recent poll, but Latino leaders compared the bill to
apartheid in South Africa and the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. A handful of teenage girls, among the
hundreds of high-school students attending a Statehouse rally, openly wept after it was announced that Brewer signed the bill.

"This is the most reprehensible thing since the Japanese internment," said Alfredo Gutierrez, a former state senator and community leader. "This is the saddest day for me. It's shameful."

IN MY OPINION
I have to ask "What is wrong with people?"  Firstly, I welcome ANYONE who wishes to seek a better life in our country PROVIDED they enter according to our laws.  Those who CHOOSE to enter the country illegally, ARE CRIMINALS. The word criminal is defined as someone / anyone who breaks the law.  The comment above about 'criminalization' suggests that new laws are being made to target illegal imigrants.  IT IS NOT TRUE.  We have had laws for a very long time.  Immigration laws.  For some vague reason the laws of immigration have been ignored when considering some elements of the population.
The portrayal of illegal as upstanding, law abiding citizens who only want to work is ludicrous at best.  These people are CRIMINALS.  Furthermore, those who are complaining about loosing money because so many of these CRIMINALS are leaving Arizona, are aiding and abetting those CRIMINALS.

I just watched a news story about a woman with 15, yes count them, 15 children who is complaining because "she has to move".  She has a choice now even as she did when she entered the US ILLEGALLY years ago.  She can LEAVE, get deported, face fines and jail time, or APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP.  This might be difficult because she is out of work and apparently speaks little or no English, but She is still a CRIMINAL after all.  I am sorry for her situation, but as I try to teach my kids and my students, THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES FOR ACTIONS AND CHOICES YOU MAKE. This woman has 15 children and no job.  Who is paying to feed them.  The children are not criminals, they were born here.  I feel sorry for them as well.  Just as I would for the children of any parents who are CRIMINALS.

Perhaps it is true that these immigrants accept jobs Americans will not do.  But does it necessarily follow that they have to be CRIMINALS?  Why are the employers not held accountable for their part in the problem.

So, the politicians and Criminals can bitch all they like.  I will still consider these people as alien (from a foreign place) invaders (those who enter a country with a purpose of taking over an area).  If you really want to be here, Great!  We do have the greatest country in the world after all.  BUT, do the paperwork and take the steps necessary to enter legally, or at the very least, if you are here illegally, apply for legal status and LEARN ENGLISH damn it.

And what about Mexico?  They are complaining???  In Mexico, if you are in the country illegally you face up to 2 years in prison (I've heard stories about those Mexican prisons).  How dare they enforce their own laws and demand we ignore ours!  Read the Mexican immigration laws here: see Chapter III
I think we should adopt the immigration laws of Mexico.  Then let them complain that our immigration laws are racist and so forth.  Perhaps they are seen this way because it is the Latino population that is entering the country illegally.  Latino gangs are popping up all over the country and mounting deaths are following them. Crime is increasing in areas of high illegal populations.
GET REAL. Just say NO to illegal aliens.  Learn English and Get legal, or leave!

Taxes and the New World Order

The Congress shall have power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises . . . but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States . . .
- United States Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1

Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers . . .
- United States Constitution, Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3

No capitation, or other direct, tax shall be laid, unless in proportion to the census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken.
- United States Constitution, Article 1, Section 9

The men who wrote the U.S. Constitution knew by experience and from their forefathers that whenever in history a nation had a central direct power of taxation or central banking, that tyranny always followed. It might take half a century, but as power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

"A free and vigilant people should never have tolerated this for a minute. The income tax is an inherently communistic tax, because one of the prerequisites of freedom is a sphere of privacy. And if you destroy the material foundations of that sphere of privacy, you have destroyed the possibility of freedom." - Alan Keyes

  • A direct tax is one paid directly to the government by the persons on whom it is imposed. Examples include some income taxes, some corporate taxes, and transfer taxes such as estate (inheritance) tax and gift tax.
  • An indirect tax or "collected" tax (such as sales tax or value added tax (VAT)); is one which is collected by intermediaries who turn over the proceeds to the government and file the related tax return
